  3.          FOR FRACTAL DESIGN PAINTER 3.0

  5. This is a cool technique for making fire in Painter.  I call it Van Gogh Fire because it uses mostly the Van Gogh Brush.

  7. 1. Set the foreground color to:
  8.                 ‚Ä¢ H: 40%
  9.                 ‚Ä¢ S: 100%
  10.                 ‚Ä¢ V: 50%
  11.      and the color variability to:
  12.                 ‚Ä¢ H: 10%
  13.                 ‚Ä¢ S: 25%
  14.                 ‚Ä¢ V: 10%
  15. 2. With the Artists:Van Gogh brush, paint something.  I'll use an "X".  Use 100% opacity. The grain % doesn't matter.

  17. 3. Now, paint over what you just painted with the Artists:Seurat brush.

  19. 4. Use the Liquid:Coarse Distorto brush to smear up from portions of the X.

  21. Now you have a cool fiery X!
